The Vietnamese women's volleyball team easily won their first two matches at the SEA Games 33 , having the same 6 points as Indonesia but topping Group B thanks to tie-breaking criteria.
The match between these two teams will decide the top spot in Group B, as well as their opponent in the semi-finals. The team that finishes first in this group will avoid finishing first in Group A, which will most likely be the host nation Thailand – the top contender for the gold medal.
