2025 NATIONAL BEACH SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP: Phu Yen wins bronze medal

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has just awarded prizes to the teams that achieved results at the 2025 National Beach Soccer Championship held in Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa). With a force of amateur football players, along with financial support from sponsors, Tuy Hoa - Phu Yen Club won a meaningful bronze medal, after defeating VietFootball Club with a score of 3-2 in the third-place match of the tournament, with a hat-trick by Bui Phuc Duc (9) in the 3rd, 9th, and 31st minutes.

Thus, this is the third time Phu Yen has had a beach soccer team competing in the national tournament and achieving success. Previously, Phu Yen beach soccer team won the silver medal in 2010 and the championship in 2011.

Host Khanh Hoa demonstrated the advantage of the organizing unit when defeating Da Nang in the final to win the championship in 2025. In addition, the coastal city team Nha Trang also completed a hat-trick in the tournament with the Style Award, the Best Player Award was Nguyen Hoang Quan and the Best Goalkeeper Award was Tran Cong Thanh. The title of Player with the most goals belonged to veteran striker Tran Ngoc Bao of Da Nang.

According to Mr. Phan Ngoc Anh, Director of the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, with what has been shown, Phu Yen sports people should develop ideas and plans to organize a quality beach soccer team, suitable to the province's strengths, to compete well in the national arena in the coming time.
