Disbursement of more than 1.3 billion VND to borrowers

(HG) - The transaction office of the Social Policy Bank of Vi Thuy district has disbursed capital to 42 borrowers in Vinh Trung commune, with a total amount of more than 1.3 billion VND. Of which, 11 poor households received loans of 670 million VND, 2 student households received loans of 40 million VND, and 3 households who had just escaped poverty received loans of 105 million VND. The remaining 26 households received loans for the clean water and environmental sanitation program of 527 million VND.

Ms. Tran Ngoc Trang, Director of the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Vi Thuy district, said that up to now, the total outstanding loans for credit programs in the district have reached 605 billion VND, with 13,903 borrowers. Of which, the total outstanding loans for credit programs in Vinh Trung commune have reached over 77.1 billion VND, with 1,669 borrowers. With the loan capital, households in Vinh Trung commune have used it for the right purposes, focusing on production and livestock farming with economic efficiency. It is expected that in the last week of March, the district transaction office will continue to issue loans at Nang Mau town unit to 36 households, with an amount of over 1.3 billion VND.
