The 2nd Dien Bien Provincial Club Pickleball Tournament 2025 was a great success

This tournament attracted the participation of nearly 200 pairs of athletes from Clubs throughout the province, competing in 18 competition categories (belonging to the following groups: Leadership; Movement: internal to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; internal to the Provincial Police ; Board of Directors and department leaders; mixed and mixed doubles of all ages; mixed and mixed doubles of all ages...). This is one of the largest tournaments ever in the province.

After 3 days (August 15 - 17) of exciting and dramatic competition with high professional quality, the Organizing Committee has awarded 20 First Prizes (Gold Medals), 20 Second Prizes (Silver Medals), 39 Third Prizes (Bronze Medals) to outstanding athletes. The competition results show that the participating units have invested in careful training, the professional level and physical strength of the athletes are quite even, the matches were exciting, dramatic and of high professional quality, demonstrating the spirit of Solidarity - Honesty - Nobility along with the enthusiastic cheering of the fans, bringing a successful and meaningful tournament. From the first Club-level tournament held in 2024 when the Pickleball movement first appeared in the area, it has developed rapidly in terms of training grounds, number of participants and quality and level of athletes. Through the tournament, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism continues to update, supplement data, select criteria to classify athletes for upcoming tournaments. At the same time, continue to maintain and expand the development of the Pickleball practice movement at all levels, sectors, clubs, and athletes because this is the sport chosen to compete at the Provincial Sports Festival taking place in 2026.

The 2nd Pickleball Tournament of Dien Bien Provincial Clubs in 2025 is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19) and 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Cultural Sector (August 28); to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 15th Provincial Party Congress. Through the tournament, it is organized to contribute to improving health, physical fitness, spiritual life and happiness for the people.
