VTV's pickleball tournament has a total prize value of up to 1 billion VND.

Vietnam Television (VTV) is about to organize the VTV AO Smith Open 2025 pickleball tournament, with the participation of nearly 700 athletes.

On October 1 in Hanoi , the Sports Department of Vietnam Television (VTV) organized the announcement of the VTV AO Smith Open Pickleball Tournament 2025. The tournament will take place from October 24 to 26 at the Happyland court cluster (Long Bien, Hanoi), under the professional management of the Vietnam Sports and Physical Training Department.

The total prize value of the tournament, both cash and in kind, is 1 billion VND. The tournament brings together nearly 700 domestic and foreign athletes, competing in 11 events.

Among the famous athletes attending are Nguyen Dac Tien, a former top tennis player of Vietnam, and Nguyen Anh Thang - a famous pickleball player in the semi-professional and professional world today.

In addition, the tournament is also open to showbiz, including singers, actors, MCs, and celebrities. The tournament will apply the USA Pickleball Competition Rules.

Not only a sports tournament, VTV AO Smith Open 2025 is also a charity fundraising activity to support the Vietnamese Heart Fund - the unit implementing VTV's humanitarian program "Heart for Children".
