HiGreen Charity Pickleball Tournament 'For a Green Truong Sa' attracts the technology community

More than 120 athletes, leaders and technology experts from more than 60 domestic and international corporations and partners participated in the MBIT HiGreen Pickleball Tournament 2025 at the US. Pickleball field (70 An Duong, Hanoi). The event was organized by the Information Technology Division (MBIT) - Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB), to raise funds for the HiGreen Truong Sa campaign with the goal of planting 1 million trees to green the Truong Sa archipelago.

This is a continuation of the HiGreen Truong Sa community campaign launched by MB in collaboration with the Navy since April 2025. To date, the campaign has recorded nearly 50,000 organizations and individuals participating, through financial contributions or green actions. Through this tournament, MB expects to mobilize an additional 20 billion VND, equivalent to 268,000 trees, bringing the total campaign results to about 28% of the target.

The tournament was attended by senior representatives from MB such as: Mr. Vu Thanh Trung, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of MB, Head of the Organizing Committee of the HiGreen Truong Sa campaign, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoc, Deputy General Director, Director of IT Division of MB Group, and many leaders from member companies in MB Group. On the partner side, there were representatives from leading technology names such as: Oracle, Temenos, Amigo, IBM, Dell, Palo Alto, Cisco, Netapp, HPE, F5, Redhat, Openway, Hitachi, SVTech, Checkpoint, Viettel, FPT , TechX, FTI, digibank, CMCTS, CTIN... Among them, some delegates participated in Working Group No. 15 to visit Truong Sa with MB at the end of April.

The unique point of the event lies in the fact that MB chose Pickleball, a modern sport with a high spirit of connection, to convey a social message. There are no valuable prizes or large material gifts, instead, athletes will receive spiritual gifts bearing the mark of Truong Sa such as island soap or the flag that once flew on the archipelago.

Sharing at the event, Mr. Vu Thanh Trung, Vice Chairman of MB's Board of Directors emphasized : "In every great transformation journey, no one can go alone. MB understands very well that to go far and sustainably, we need reliable companions, which is the community of technology partners who have always stood side by side with MB throughout the process of not only becoming a digital enterprise, a leading financial group but also a pioneer in the great tasks of the Country"

After the tournament, the HiGreen journey will continue with a special event: the "Soul of Art" art exhibition exclusively for MB Private customers, with 5% of the revenue from the works expected to be contributed by participating Artists to the campaign.
