| Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor presented the Decision to terminate operations, dissolve and hand over the grassroots union. |
At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) announced the Decisions to end and terminate the activities of 13 trade unions directly above the grassroots level and 4 grassroots trade unions directly under the Provincial Federation of Labor; to end the activities of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the unions.
At the same time, the Decision on transferring grassroots trade unions to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor for management and direction of activities was announced. Specifically: Transferring the status quo of 469 grassroots trade unions with 136,184 union members from district and city federations, sectoral and industrial zone unions to the Provincial Federation of Labor from July 1, 2025. The dissolution and transfer of grassroots trade unions to the Provincial Federation of Labor is a necessary step, in line with the roadmap for innovation of the organization and operation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in the current period.
