The 2025 Summer tourist season in Binh Thuan is taking place vigorously with an increase in the number of domestic visitors.
Binh Thuan tourism continues to affirm its special attraction from its strengths in sea and islands; creating a solid foundation for the province to complete the goal of welcoming 10.6 million visitors in 2025.
Exciting "golden season"
Since the beginning of June, the tourism atmosphere in Binh Thuan has become bustling. In addition to the flow of visitors from companies, units, and schools, the flow of visitors in small groups of families and friends still accounts for a large number.
According to Ms. Lam Kieu Oanh, representative of Radisson resort Phan Thiet, with the number of guests booked in advance and signals from the beginning of June, the number of guests this summer increased by 10-20% compared to last year.
The main customer market is still from Ho Chi Minh City, the Southern provinces and the Central Highlands...
In addition to domestic visitors, Binh Thuan also welcomes many international tourists.
Currently, the number of guests on weekends is quite high, room occupancy is from 70-100%. On weekdays, room occupancy fluctuates from 20-50%.
A good sign this summer is that tourist areas located in the South of Phan Thiet city such as Tien Thanh, Thuan Quy, Tan Thanh... are becoming more bustling.
Instead of focusing only on the key areas of Ham Tien and Mui Ne like before, tourists have started to look for new resorts with pristine, peaceful beaches.
Mr. Nguyen Tam Huynh (from Binh Phuoc) shared that recently, his family's trips often focus on a "slow living" lifestyle with experiences of exploring nature, beauty, culture of the land and do not need too many high-end services. That is the reason he chose to come to Ke Ga beach, Ham Thuan Nam. In addition to the ancient lighthouse, the beach here is quite wild, poetic, the air is fresh, and the seafood is delicious. Being able to pull the fishing net with the locals every morning is a rare experience for his family.
Phu Quy Island continues to be an attractive destination for tourists on their journey to explore Binh Thuan. Tourists not only immerse themselves in the fresh, poetic nature with clear blue sea but also experience new and unique tourism products.

With favorable weather, many natural landscapes, connecting transport infrastructure, and diverse tourism products, from the beginning of 2025 until now, Binh Thuan tourism continues to record positive signals; maintaining its attraction on the domestic and international tourism map.
Statistics show that in the first 5 months of 2025, the locality welcomed more than 4.5 million visitors, an increase of 18% over the same period in 2024. Revenue from tourism activities reached VND 12,270 billion (an increase of 18.7% over the same period in 2024).
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, the encouraging signs from the beginning of 2025 until now, especially during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, show strong growth in the tourism industry and create momentum for the summer tourist season in 2025.
This is also a solid foundation for localities and businesses to boldly launch new products, adding more attraction to the destination.
Binh Thuan - Endless experiences
This summer, sea and island tourism; sea sports combined with relaxation; marine ecological exploration tourism… are still the types and products chosen by tourists.
Grasping this trend, localities and tourism units have actively innovated products, upgraded accommodation facilities and added more experiential activities to create highlights for the summer vacation.
In general, this year's new tourism products not only maximize the advantages of landscape, culture, people, tourism potential associated with new experiences and discoveries, meeting the needs of many customer lines from popular to high-end products.

Outstanding products include water-based experiences, entertainment, and recreation (windsurfing, kayaking, SUP, canoeing, swimming, etc.) expanded in many coastal areas of Mui Ne (Phan Thiet city), Tan Thanh (Ham Thuan Nam), Phu Quy island, etc.; resort and health care products, outdoor and beach sports at resorts; resort classes combined with learning to cook local specialties.
Mr. Mai Dang Khoa, Deputy General Manager of Adora Kega Beach resort, said that in addition to the combo package for guests staying at the resort, the unit also built a tour package and experienced services during the day including water park fun, dry tube slides, infinity pool bathing and entertainment games.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Phuong (from Ho Chi Minh City), every summer, her family comes to Binh Thuan for sightseeing and relaxation. Each time they return here, her family chooses a different experience for the children to "cool off" the summer with the ocean waves, fresh weather, explore the traditional culture of the people, and experience many other diverse and attractive tourist activities.
To promote tourism as a safe, friendly, attractive, and quality destination, Binh Thuan is implementing a tourism development stimulus program in 2025 with the theme "Binh Thuan - Endless Experiences."
The province focuses on price and service incentives, enhancing tourist experiences, linking destinations, tourism development products and services, and organizing many activities to attract tourists.
It is expected that in June, the locality will announce a list of attractive packages and incentive programs for tourists.
In addition, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has sent an official dispatch to localities, management boards of tourist areas and attractions, and service businesses requesting them to improve the quality of services for tourists during the summer.
Units and localities should strengthen inspections of compliance with regulations on price posting, environmental sanitation, food safety and hygiene, security and order, and prevent solicitation and stalking of tourists.
In particular, to minimize injuries and ensure drowning safety in the summer, units have reviewed, installed signs, regulations, and provided instructions to tourists at tourist attractions and coastal beaches.
Units have increased rescue work at coastal beaches and swimming pools, fully equipped with equipment and ensuring there are always lifeguards on duty; advised and requested that tourists not swim or participate in sea sports activities when the weather is bad./.
