On June 17, Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, said that the Provincial People's Committee has just requested the two investors of the three North-South Expressway component projects (Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon; Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon; Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh) to urgently direct contractors and construction units to repair damaged residential roads due to the load of highway construction vehicles.

Provincial Road 629 in Hoai An District (Binh Dinh Province) was severely damaged due to overloaded trucks carrying highway construction materials.

The most serious of these are the four provincial roads 629, 630, 636 and 638. Many provincial and residential roads passing through An Nhon town and Hoai An district (Binh Dinh province) are daily burdened by the load of trucks carrying highway construction materials, so they are constantly damaged and have potholes, posing a very high risk of accidents.

In addition, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province directed investors and contractors of the expressway to promptly inspect and resolve the issue of adding a system of service roads, residential roads, sewer systems, and technical trenches; propose solutions to handle the phenomenon of sedimentation, water erosion, and compensation for houses cracked due to the construction of the above projects.
