On the morning of October 28th, the La Son - Hoa Lien expressway, heading from Da Nang , was still being guarded and closed by Da Nang traffic police to ensure safety.
It's still raining heavily on the highway, the sky is completely white. In many sections, water is pouring down from above.
Heavy rains in recent days have caused landslides at several points along the highway.
Earlier that morning, a serious landslide occurred at Km46+300 on the La Son - Hoa Lien expressway (the section passing through Da Nang), with soil and trees covering the road surface.
It is estimated that thousands of cubic meters of earth collapsed onto the road at this location.
