Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Cong Tu, Director of the Da Nang City Sports Center, emphasized the important role of sports in physical training, improving public health, and building a civilized and dynamic lifestyle for the city's residents.
After a six-year hiatus, the Da Nang City Expanded Bodybuilding Club Championship is being held again, fulfilling the expectations of many bodybuilding enthusiasts.
According to the organizers, this year's competition continues to support the movement "All people practice physical training following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh," while also creating a healthy playground for athletes to interact, learn, exchange experiences, and improve their professional skills.
With 13 competitive events, the tournament promises to deliver spectacular and exciting performances, showcasing a spirit of determination, honesty, and sportsmanship.
The tournament brings together 20 clubs, including: Gold Swim, Team Minh Bao, Tan Gym - Fitness, Hanoi Muscle Team, Tu Do, 43 Fitness and Yoga, California, HL Fitness, Kien Gym, SOAR Gym, Minh Tri Fitness Center, Kangnam, Kfitness Center, Tri Gym Fitness Center, Thanh Gym, HD Fitness Center, Long Gym, Hariven Gym & Fitness, ZYZZ Fitness Center and Breaking Gym.
Athletes compete in various categories such as: men's bodybuilding by weight class; young men aged 16-21 and men over 45 with no weight limit; classic men's bodybuilding by height; men's Sport Physique by height; and women's Sport Physique (Bikini) by height.
The organizing committee will award gold, silver, and bronze medals, along with certificates and cash prizes, to the athletes who achieve first, second, and third place in each competition event.
Through this tournament, Da Nang hopes to further promote the bodybuilding training and competition movement in the area, and at the same time select outstanding athletes to supplement the city's bodybuilding team to participate in national tournaments in the future.
The Da Nang City Open Bodybuilding Club Championship 2025 will run until December 14th. Tien Son Sports Complex, Hoa Cuong Ward, Da Nang City.
