The site is closely associated with the process of clearing land, establishing villages, defending the land, and building the homeland of the local people, with the Hoang family playing a central role.
Hoang Vinh To and Hoang Vinh Du were revered ancestors who made significant contributions to their homeland and country. They are honored by the people, who have erected temples and tombs in their honor to commemorate and express their gratitude.

Despite numerous historical upheavals, the complex of historical relics has been preserved through the collective efforts and responsibility of generations of descendants of the Hoang family and the local community.

The cultural and historical cornerstone of the old Bo Chinh region.
The preservation, veneration, and restoration of historical relics are maintained as a cultural lifeline, reflecting the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," and the spirit of loyalty and patriotism – values that have shaped the identity and character of the people of Tan Gianh today.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), affirmed that the ranking of Song Trung Temple and the tombs of Hoang Vinh To and Hoang Vinh Du as National Monuments is a well-deserved recognition by the State of the historical and cultural value of the relics, and is also the result of the persistent and long-term preservation efforts of the government, the people, and especially the Hoang family.
Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh also expressed his hope that the local authorities, the community, and descendants of the Hoang family would continue to strictly adhere to the regulations of the Law on Cultural Heritage; considering the preservation of original elements as a guiding principle in all restoration and renovation activities of the relics. Investment and renovation should be carefully studied to ensure the preservation of the historical, cultural, and spiritual space inherent to the relics.

“It is necessary to promote the value of historical relics in conjunction with traditional education for the younger generation, thereby spreading pride in the history and culture of our homeland. We need to rationally exploit them to develop cultural and spiritual tourism in a sustainable direction, creating livelihoods for local people, while simultaneously enhancing the role of the community as the main actors in protecting heritage,” Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh emphasized.
In particular, Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh also suggested continuing to promote socialization, encouraging the active participation of the Hoang family, the local community, researchers, and businesses in preserving, protecting, and promoting the value of the historical site. The collaboration of the community is considered a crucial foundation for ensuring that the heritage is not only preserved but also vibrant in contemporary life.

The designation of Song Trung Temple and the tombs of Hoang Vinh To and Hoang Vinh Du as National Monuments is a great honor and source of pride for the Party Committee, government, and people of Tan Gianh commune and the Hoang family, and also opens a new chapter in heritage preservation efforts linked to sustainable development.
