Thuan Hoa District voters petition many issues regarding civil infrastructure

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of June 17, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Phu Hoi Ward (Thuan Hoa District), Delegation Group No. 4 of the Hue City People's Council held a meeting with voters before the 10th regular session of the 8th Hue City People's Council. This was an opportunity for delegates to listen to, record and respond to the recommendations of voters in the area.

Voters recommend investing in completing traffic infrastructure on dead-end roads

Attending and chairing the conference were Mr. Hoang Trong Buu, Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of Hue City People's Council, along with delegates of Thuan Hoa District People's Council and a large number of voters from Truong An, Phuoc Vinh, Phu Nhuan and Phu Hoi wards.

At the conference, Mr. Hoang Trong Buu informed voters about the expected content and agenda of the 10th session of the City People's Council; at the same time, he briefly reported on the socio -economic development, national defense and security situation in the first 6 months of 2025. The representative of the Thuan Hoa District People's Council also reported on the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations from the previous session.

During the discussion, local voters reflected on many pressing social issues, focusing on traffic infrastructure and water supply and drainage systems.

Many alleys are too narrow, making it difficult to travel, and are especially dangerous in the event of a fire or explosion because fire trucks cannot access them.

The drainage system on some roads in Phu Hoi and Truong An wards is seriously degraded, often causing flooding during heavy rains.

Some opinions also suggested adjusting parking regulations according to odd-even days to ensure traffic safety on small roads.

In addition, voters recommended that departments and businesses coordinate to survey and relocate some inappropriate electric poles that affect people's daily life and traffic; equip more sports equipment in the Nhu Y riverbank area to serve the needs of community activities, along with some recommendations on local infrastructure.

On behalf of Delegation Group No. 4, Mr. Hoang Trong Buu acknowledged and appreciated the sense of responsibility of the voters, and said that he would forward the recommendations to the competent authorities for consideration and resolution in the coming time. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening the dissemination of resolutions of the Hue City People's Council to raise awareness and consensus among the people.
