300 union members, workers, civil servants and laborers participated in the Voluntary Blood Donation Day

On the morning of June 18, at the Provincial Labor Culture House, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross to organize a Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in response to the program "Red Journey - Red Drops of An Giang".

About 300 union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers came to register for voluntary blood donation. Very early, many blood donors were present, completed registration procedures and received blood, including workers of enterprises who came to donate blood before work hours.

With the message "A drop of blood given, a life saved", the Provincial Labor Federation mobilized grassroots trade unions of affiliated enterprises, the Education Trade Union; Long Xuyen City Labor Federation, Provincial Party Committee Office, An Giang University, An Giang Vocational College, An Giang Medical College...

With the practical meaning of blood donation to save lives being spread, along with the propaganda and mobilization work of the trade union at all levels, many union members and workers boldly participated in donating blood for the first time, some have participated in donating blood many times. As a result, the Organizing Committee collected 243 units of blood.
