Quang Dien is a district of Thua Thien Hue province, now Hue city under the Central Government. The name Quang Dien was born during the reign of Lord Tien Nguyen Hoang (1558 - 1613), until 1570 the name Quang Dien began to be commonly used in documents and books. This name has contributed to the formation of the long-standing history of ancient Thuan Hoa and then Phu Xuan - Thua Thien Hue, today's Hue city.

It can be said that on this land of outstanding people, many communities have worked together and left behind the marks of cultural layers. This is a land that was once the pinnacle of many historical periods, so this is also the place where many famous people gathered.
