Sports festival to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

On the morning of June 18, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of An Giang province solemnly organized a Sports Festival to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Badminton Competition and Awards

The sports festival organized competitions in two sports: badminton and pickleball (men's doubles and mixed doubles), attracting a large number of athletes from departments and branches related to state management of the press; leaders, reporters, editors of press and media agencies in the province and the Central government located in the province; leaders, civil servants, and public employees in the information and broadcasting sector working at the Department of Culture, Science and Information; cultural, sports and broadcasting centers; district-level cultural, sports, tourism and broadcasting centers in the province.

This is an activity to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; at the same time, it is an opportunity for press agencies, reporters, and editors to exchange, practice physical training, strengthen solidarity, share experiences and promote creativity, and support each other in work and life. Thereby, contributing to promoting the movement "All people practice physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho", improving the spiritual life of the press team, helping press agencies to successfully complete their assigned political tasks.
