Cooperative Director Takes High School Graduation Exam at Age 54

On the afternoon of June 27, Mr. Tran Ngoc Sang, Head of the examination site of Hai Lang High School (Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province) said that this year, the oldest candidate at the examination site is Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh (54 years old, residing in Hai Duong commune, Hai Lang district).

According to Mr. Sang, on the same day, candidate Nguyen Ngoc Sinh participated in both Literature and Math exams.

Mr. Hoang Canh, Chairman of Hai Duong Commune People's Committee, said that he knew about Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh participating in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam. Mr. Canh added that Mr. Sinh is currently the Director of Xuan Vien Agricultural Service Production Cooperative (Hai Duong Commune).

Speaking over the phone, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh said that his studies were interrupted due to family circumstances. In the past 3 years, he has been studying at the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center of Hai Lang district.

Along with confirming that he is the Director of the Cooperative, Mr. Sinh said that his family members support his return to school and participate in the Graduation Exam this time.

Sharing about the process of taking the exams, Mr. Sinh said: "There was no pressure at all. I felt like I could do the test so there was no pressure."

Mr. Van Am, Deputy Director of the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Training of Hai Lang district confirmed that Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh attended a self-study class with guidance (the last course of the 2006 GeneralEducation program) at the Center.

According to the Deputy Director of the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Training of Hai Lang District, Mr. Sinh and two others (one born in 1978 and one born in 1981) are examples of hard work in studying. Previously, in the mock exam organized by the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Training of Hai Lang District, all three of them had passed the graduation exam.
