On July 26, a working delegation of the Department of Health led by Mr. Nong Tuan Phong - Director of the Department of Health inspected the medical work and vaccination work at Tien Thanh Medical Station under Thach An Medical Center and Hong Nam Medical Station under Hoa An Medical Center after implementing the 2-level local government model. Accompanying were representatives of relevant departments of the Department of Health.

During the inspection, the working group inspected and supervised facilities, human resources, equipment, vaccination, drug dispensing, electronic prescriptions, medical work and epidemic prevention and control work at the facilities.

Through inspection, the Health Stations have fully arranged facilities, equipment, supplies, and human resources to perform medical examination, treatment, and first aid for patients at the facility. During the stabilization period of the 2-level local government model, the facilities have basically stabilized their organization, each facility ensures a minimum of 5 medical staff, maintains continuity, ensures effective medical examination, treatment, and health care for the people, and does not allow interruptions.

Working with the Health Stations, Comrade Nong Tuan Phong - Director of the Department of Health directed that it is necessary to pay special attention to maintaining hygiene at the facility, ensuring a clean and safe medical examination and treatment environment. He requested that the units continue to strengthen the inspection, supervision and evaluation of the implementation of health programs, ensuring effective and timely implementation. In particular, in the transitional period and the consolidation of the apparatus after implementing the 2-level local government model, the Health Stations need to promote their role as the focal point for grassroots health care, ensuring the provision of health services continuously and promptly, avoiding interruptions in people's health care.

Concluding the inspection, the Director of the Department of Health acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of the Health Stations in the past time, and at the same time requested the units to seriously overcome the shortcomings that have been pointed out, continue to maintain and improve the quality of grassroots health services, and increasingly better meet the health care needs of the people.
