According to the report of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, with the consistent and drastic direction from the Government, the Prime Minister, ministries, branches and An Giang Provincial People's Committee, many difficulties and problems have been promptly resolved, contributing to speeding up the project's progress.

Component project 1 of the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway construction investment project phase 1 through An Giang province, up to now, the total progress of the implementation of 4 main construction packages has reached 54.68% (exceeding the plan by about 0.06%).

Specifically, package 42, output progress reached 49.27% ​​(about 0.56% ahead); package 43, output progress reached 54.94% (about 1.24% behind); package 44, output progress reached 59.83% (about 1.03% ahead); package 45, output progress reached 55.74% (about 0.03% ahead)...

At the reception, Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc made a number of proposals and recommendations on construction plans to suit the terrain of the area. These opinions were noted by the delegation and considered in the implementation of future projects, when the country's resources are more abundant and can invest in higher quality projects, suitable to the characteristics of the Mekong Delta.
