On the afternoon of November 22, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council chaired a delegation to supervise the settlement of voters' opinions and recommendations before the 15th session of the 15th Provincial People's Council in Ninh Binh city. The delegation included leaders of the Department of Finance and the People's Committee of Ninh Binh city.
The content of Ninh Binh city voters' petitions relates to many areas.
Regarding public investment, voters reflected: The old Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital and the old Provincial People's Court in Phuc Thanh Ward have been abandoned for many years, with degraded facilities causing waste of State and People's assets. Voters requested the province to direct relevant units to speed up the renovation of the old Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital into the Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Eye Hospital, and clearly demarcate the boundaries between the two hospitals.
Regarding the field of transportation, investment, and basic construction, voters reflected: Currently, Ly Nhan Tong Street connected to T1 Canal, the main traffic route of Nam Binh and Ninh Phong wards, has degraded, causing environmental pollution. Therefore, voters requested the province to promptly allocate capital for construction, overcome the pollution situation, and provide information on the situation, implementation plan, and progress so that voters can understand and participate in monitoring.
Regarding Phuc Son bridge (Ninh Tien commune), voters requested the province to soon build a new bridge and move its location to ensure safety and convenience for people to travel.
In agricultural production, voters suggested that the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province and city soon invest in high-quality agricultural production areas and OCOP product introduction centers of Hoang Son and Phuc Son Cooperatives to create conditions for businesses to invest, contributing to sustainable agricultural development.
At the monitoring session, representatives of the Department of Finance and the People's Committee of Ninh Binh City received and fully explained the opinions raised by voters, at the same time discussed and clarified the implementation progress, difficulties, obstacles and proposed to relevant departments, branches and localities to actively coordinate implementation, ensure quality, efficiency, and meet voters' aspirations.
In particular, focusing on handling public assets of the old Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital and the old Provincial People's Court headquarters, investing in high-quality agricultural production areas and OCOP product introduction centers, speeding up the progress of moving Phuc Son bridge, etc.
Next, the delegation conducted a field survey of Ly Nhan Tong Street (Nam Binh Ward); Phuc Son Bridge and the project to dredge the Chanh River embankment (Ninh Tien Commune, Ninh Binh City).
