Screenwriter Dinh Tien Dung ("Professor Xoay" or Cu Trong Xoay) returns to the audience with a musical with a unique idea: about... pieces of shit.

It is the musical Kurt's Miracle , produced by STARLAB Academy. The program's general director is musician Hoang Anh Minh - music director of many VTV programs such as Meeting at the end of the year, Proud Melody, Vietnamese Songs...

Not only flowers, poop also gets to take the stage

Kurt's Miracle tells the story of a familiar "friend" and an indispensable part of each of our lives, but always shunned and disgusted. That is the poop.

At the announcement of the musical Kurt's Miracle on the evening of May 27, screenwriter Dinh Tien Dung shared with Tuoi Tre Online that we often only hear praise for the fragrance of flowers.

But few people know that that friend - the poop - is the one who loves the flowers the most.

So much so that they are willing to sacrifice themselves so that the flowers can spread their fragrance. And that love is a miracle of life on this earth.

That is the story of the musical Kurt's Miracle.

Regarding the unusual idea of ​​bringing the characters of feces to the stage, Dinh Tien Dung said that everything in life, if viewed in its proper function, is worthy of respect and value.

If we are biased, only looking at fragrant and beautiful things, considering them valuable, and not smelly and rotten things like feces, we will not realize the core things: In fact, this life is a cycle of matter and everything has its role.

The dung dissolves into the soil, creating crops that feed plants and people. Then people and animals create dung again. And the cycle begins again.

In the neutral eyes of children

Dinh Tien Dung wrote this script because he realized that children with a neutral perspective, they enjoy talking about going to the toilet or about poop. That's why many children enjoy listening to songs about going to the toilet.

His son loved listening to his father's nightly stories whose main characters were pieces of poop, which he called the stories of the Toilet Kingdom .

Therefore, Dinh Tien Dung believes that the musical Kurt's Miracle is a story that children will love.

Along with the poop, the musical also features characters such as dung beetles, flies, bees, flowers, etc., promising to bring joyful, refreshing emotions, as well as touching and choking emotions to the audience.

The musical Kurt's Miracle was performed on Vietnamese Family Day, June 28, with two performances at 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Au Co Theater, 8 Huynh Thuc Khang, Hanoi .
