The theme of the past is an opportunity for artists to refresh old songs and make old songs new. Turning the stage into a lavish party by remaking the song Sea of Love helped Gil Le win.
Sea of Love is an old love song with a romantic, floating and melancholy atmosphere. The idea of giving this song a new look came from a chance freestyle attempt by producer Minh Dinh and was captured by Gil Le. The stage of Sea of Love by the Shadow Wolves team was a lavish, splendid party with the host Gil Le - a lovesick dreamer who dedicated the song to all the distinguished guests attending.

The stage of Sea of Love was invested by Gil Le like a lavish, splendid party. |
As judge Do Hieu commented, Gil Le is not a singer with a natural voice but has tried and made a lot of effort. Combined with the producer's classical arrangement, Gil Le had the opportunity to show off his voice with high notes. It is clear to see the meticulousness and investment of the team when the song is divided into 2 completely different parts, not making the listener bored but going from one surprise to another.

Shadow Wolves' stage production always leaves the audience in awe because it is so beautiful. Judge Do Hieu commented: Gil Le is an artist with a sense of both fashion and music .
Keeping their promise to change the costumes for all members, Queen appeared on stage in suits and the main character wore a mask. Producer Dau Tat Dat also performed the piano part in this performance. Lonely Star is a hit by Jack – J97, which Queen “remade” with musical material inspired by musicals. The highlight of the performance was when Queen stopped singing and replaced it with… dialogue, this was a very smart way to keep the song from being boring even though Dau Tat Dat’s arrangement was still quite predictable.

All 3 judges gave a lot of compliments on Queen's progress even though she did not appear on stage to listen to the comments. This is exactly what the Queen team wants - innovation and self-improvement after each round. The song continues to bring a meaningful message to the audience: anyone can be Queen. Queen ranked 2nd.
After more than 20 years, the soundtrack song Mui Ngo Gai was rewritten by musician Andiez Nam Truong, in the spirit of keeping the original content intact, helping Roy Nguyen shine on stage. This was also the first time Roy Nguyen did not perform choreography but only focused on singing. Notably, producer Joo Castle brought the sound of the erhu - a traditional Vietnamese folk instrument - into the arrangement, receiving many compliments from the judges.

The only downside is Roy Nguyen's ability to sing Vietnamese when his pronunciation still does not satisfy judges Doan Minh Vu and Do Hieu. However, judge Luu Thien Huong thinks that it is not a serious problem because she can still hear the words clearly, on the other hand, Andiez Nam Truong used a lot of inflections which was an obstacle for Roy.

Undeniably, this is a great effort by Roy Nguyen to temporarily put aside his strengths and risk renewing himself.
Caught in controversy with the original Tet Dong Trong , KHOA decided to remove 8 rap lines from this song and renew the lyrics and arrangement. Tet Dong Trong 3+1=4 is more "buzzing", more true to the Tet colors and received many compliments from the judges. Still using familiar instruments and simple, familiar materials, KHOA always makes everyone excited and laugh with each of his performances, especially with the appearance of actor Xuan Tien.

KHOA decided to remove 8 rap verses from the full Tet song and renew everything from the lyrics to the arrangement. |
As a son of the Western region, KHOA mentioned the Tet market and the “unstable” Lam bus right on stage. This was a plus point for the performance.
At the end of the performance, KHOA emotionally shared: "I haven't been home for 2 years", "Full Tet " was also inspired by KHOA's mother's phone call asking: "Hello, are you home yet?". Hearing this, everyone was moved, judge Doan Minh Vu also asked to use "Full Tet" to send a message to his family.
KHOA's performance is not too elaborate, new or groundbreaking compared to the guy in the previous 2 episodes, however, Full Tet still has a lot of meaning in the days near Tet.
