Introducing Official Gazette Nos. 28 and 29

This official gazette contains many important details from the Da Nang City People's Committee regarding the functions, duties, powers, and organizational structure of the Department of Justice and the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee under the Da Nang City Department of Internal Affairs.

Accordingly, the Department of Justice is a specialized agency under the People's Committee of the city with the function of advising and assisting the People's Committee of the city in state management regarding: the drafting and implementation of laws; monitoring the implementation of laws; inspecting, handling, reviewing, and systematizing legal normative documents; disseminating and educating on the law; grassroots mediation; legal affairs; authentication; adoption; civil registration; nationality; state compensation; legal aid; lawyers and legal consultants; notarization; judicial expertise; auctioning of assets; commercial arbitration; commercial mediation; bailiffs; receivers, asset management and liquidation enterprises, and the practice of asset management and liquidation; registration of security measures; managing the implementation of laws on handling administrative violations; other judicial work and public service activities in the ngành (sector/field) as prescribed by law; and performing tasks as assigned, delegated, or authorized by the People's Committee of the city, the Chairman of the People's Committee of the city, and superior state agencies.

Regarding the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee), it is an organization equivalent to a sub-department, directly under the Department of Internal Affairs of Da Nang City, with the function of assisting the Director of the Department of Internal Affairs in advising the People's Committee of Da Nang City on state management of ethnic, belief, and religious affairs. The Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee has a Chairman and one Vice-Chairman.
