Thanks to the good implementation of inspection and supervision work, the leadership capacity of Chau Son Ward Party Committee has been improved; effectively leading the development of traffic infrastructure.

In order to improve the effectiveness of inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has actively advised the Party Committee to deploy documents on this work, and annually advises on the inspection and supervision program of affiliated Party Committees and Party cells.

In addition, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has directed and provided professional guidance to lower-level inspection committees on the performance of assigned tasks as prescribed in Article 32 of the Party Charter.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee assigned comrades in charge of localities and units to grasp the situation and provide guidance on inspection, supervision and Party discipline at the grassroots level.

Inspection committees at all levels also assign cadres to be in charge of the area, linking the responsibility of cadres in charge of the area with the results of performing tasks of the locality and unit. Thereby, enhancing the sense of responsibility, proactiveness, and timeliness in consulting and resolving newly arising complex issues.

Song Cong City Party Committee has 33 party organizations and bases, with over 6,000 party members. In 2023, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee conducted thematic supervision of 76 organizations and 86 party members; grassroots party committees conducted thematic supervision of 58 party organizations and 64 party members. Inspection committees at all levels conducted thematic supervision of 70 party organizations and 50 party members. The supervision content focused on the implementation of Party directives and resolutions, working regulations of party committees, principles of organizing party activities, party committee activities, grassroots democracy regulations, ethnic and religious affairs, etc.

Through supervision, the units have been serious and proactive in implementing the contents according to the tasks, at the same time pointing out the existing problems for the units to adjust, supplement, and learn from experience; no party organization or party member had to be inspected when there were signs of violations.

Along with that, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee inspected 34 party organizations and 39 party members. Grassroots Party Committees inspected 68 party organizations and 131 party members. Inspection committees at all levels conducted 5 inspections when there were signs of violations against 5 party members, an increase of 150% compared to 2022.

From the inspection results, Party committees at all levels and Party cells have disciplined 14 Party members, of whom 6 are Party committee members who violated population and family planning policies, regulations on crime prevention and control, performance of assigned duties and tasks, and violations in direction, management and operation.

Along with that, the inspection committees at all levels have disciplined 9 party members, including reprimanding 5 comrades, expelling 4 from the Party, and suspending 3 party members from party activities for violating the law.

Comrade Dang Duong Thao, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Song Cong City Party Committee, said: Since the beginning of the year, the inspection committee of the grassroots Party Committee has conducted inspections when there were signs of violations of 3 Party members. Through the inspection, it was concluded that 1 Party member violated to the extent that disciplinary action was required and was disciplined with a reprimand, 1 Party member violated but not to the extent of disciplinary action; 1 comrade was suspended from Party activities due to violating the law.

Currently, the City Party Committee is implementing inspections and supervisions according to the 2024 work program; focusing on expanding supervision activities in sensitive areas, areas with many petitions, complaints and denunciations to promptly grasp the situation, correct, rectify and prevent violations from the beginning. Thereby contributing to strengthening solidarity, unity and maintaining strict discipline, upholding the principles of organizing party activities, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party.
