Go Dau: First 6 months of 2025, mobilized 370 million VND for the Fund for the Poor

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Go Dau District Fund for the Poor Mobilization Committee and communes and towns mobilized businesses, philanthropists, religions and people inside and outside the district to contribute 370 million VND to the Fund for the Poor.

Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh presented gifts to people in difficult circumstances in Go Dau district.

Of which, the commune level mobilized 90 million VND, the district level mobilized 270 million VND. The locality built and donated 3 solidarity houses for poor households and households in difficult circumstances, worth 270 million VND.

Implementing the project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Go Dau district has built 15 new solidarity houses, worth over 1.3 billion VND and 1,500 bags of cement; and repaired 17 solidarity houses, worth 680 million VND and 1,700 bags of cement.

The Fatherland Front at all levels and socio -political organizations in the district mobilized donors inside and outside the district to present more than 4,200 gifts to poor households, families in difficult circumstances, and policy families, worth more than 2 billion VND.
