Golfers diligently familiarize themselves with FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon course for the biggest tournament of the year

TPO - In just a few days, the 2025 Gia Lai National Golf Championship will officially kick off at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon. This morning, the training atmosphere here has "heated up" as a series of golfers showed up to get acquainted with the terrain and weather conditions.

On the green grass of the fairway, athletes diligently adjusted their club rhythm, testing their strength in holes with complex terrain, a characteristic of FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon.

"This is a course with diverse terrain and strong sea winds, so getting used to it and adjusting your strategy is extremely important," said a golfer. "Even a small mistake can affect your shot."

Many familiar faces of Vietnamese golf such as Nguyen Khanh Linh also arrived early, spending the whole morning practicing and getting familiar with the course.

Nguyen Khanh Linh's brother, Nguyen Quang Za Vinh, is also concentrating hard, taking advantage of every minute of practice at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon to achieve his best form.

Last year, Khanh Linh was the youngest golfer in the tournament, at only 11 years old. This year, the golfer born in 2013 continues to be the youngest golfer in the tournament, alongside Nguyen Ngo Thanh and Doan Dan Thanh (both 12 years old).

The spirit of determination is evident in every stroke as golfers enter the final preparation stage for the biggest tournament of the year.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year the tournament brings together 125 of the country's top golfers, including champions from previous seasons, experienced golfers and potential young faces.

With challenging sea breezes, smooth yet dynamic greens, FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon promises to be a place to witness dramatic competitions, where each shot is not only about technique but also about courage and top competitive spirit.

The National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025 takes place at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon from August 18 to August 23.

Golfers will compete in a 4-round, 18-hole stroke play format (72 holes in total). After the first 36 holes, the Organizing Committee will make the cut, selecting the 50 best male golfers and 12 best female golfers for the final two rounds. The winner is the golfer with the lowest gross score after 4 rounds.
