Comments on the plan to renovate the Memorial Area of Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung

(VLO) Implementing the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the plan to renovate the Memorial Area of Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung, on March 11, the Standing Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee organized a working session with leaders, former leaders of the province, the family of Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung, relevant functional departments and design consultants to listen to the presentation of the renovation plan and contribute opinions to report to the Prime Minister.

The Standing Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee held a working session to listen to comments on the plan to renovate the Memorial Area of Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung.

After a period of operation, the people and leaders of the province realized the need to increase the closeness, friendliness, and connection of public activities of the Memorial Area of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung, with the meaning of gratitude for the merits of the ancestors, the person who contributed to the country - Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung.

With the advice on the landscape from Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , the Provincial Party Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism agreed with the Prime Minister's direction to allow research on landscape restoration of the Memorial Area.

The renovation plan aims to enhance friendliness, rearrange the landscape, expand green space in a reasonable manner, to create attraction and convenience for the public and visitors to come to offer incense and do outdoor activities regularly, and reasonably reduce the previously concreted area.

Mr. Bui Van Nghiem - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, together with delegates and design units, visited the Memorial Area.

The delegates agreed with the renovation plan, and suggested that the renovation should create an open space for people to conveniently visit, play, and have more trees planted in front of the gate. A large yard should be built for cultural and artistic activities, and attention should be paid to ensuring security and order, and emphasis should be placed on traditionaleducation and propaganda for the younger generation...

Mr. Bui Van Nghiem - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said that the renovation plan aims to be friendly and still ensure solemnity, not demolish existing works, add more walkways for people with disabilities; create favorable conditions for a large number of people to visit, offer incense, and commemorate Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung.
