Professor, Dr. Le Quan appointed Deputy Minister of Education and Training

In Decision No. 1889/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Professor, Dr. Le Quan, Chairman of the Council and Director of Hanoi National University, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Training.

New Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Quan was born in 1974 in Hanoi , hometown Quang Ngai, is a National Assembly Delegate of the 14th and 15th terms.

Mr. Le Quan has a high level of political theory, a PhD in management science from Toulon University (France), is an expert in human resource development and entrepreneurship, was appointed Associate Professor in 2009, Professor in 2017.

Professor, Dr. Le Quan has held the positions of Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.

In June 2021, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 998/QD-TTg appointing Professor, Dr. Le Quan to the position of Director of Hanoi National University.

With his passion, vision and action, Professor, Dr. Le Quan has led Vietnam National University, Hanoi to achieve many important achievements in the 2020-2025 period, contributing to affirming the position of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, while creating a solid foundation for the goal of becoming the world's leading innovative university by 2030.
