Lam Dong province urgently establishes Xuan Huong Secondary School

In order to meet the learning needs of children of officials and civil servants from Binh Thuan and Dak Nong (old) who come to Da Lat to work, Lam Dong province decided to establish Xuan Huong Primary and Secondary School.

On the afternoon of September 8, Mr. Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, chaired a working session with departments, branches and Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat to review the progress of the establishment of Xuan Huong Primary and Secondary School, in order to reduce the overload of students studying at schools in Da Lat after the province's merger.

Mr. Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, chaired the meeting to promote the establishment of a new school.

Ms. Le Thi Bich Lien, Director of Lam Dong Department of Education and Training, said that Xuan Huong Secondary School was established at 39 Tran Phu Street, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat. This is the campus of Lam Dong College of Economics and Technology (old), Anh Dao Kindergarten and the Provincial People's Court.

Xuan Huong Secondary School will receive 2,050 students with 50 classes; of which, it is expected that there will be 20 primary classes and 30 secondary classes. The staff needs to be arranged for about 87 staff and teachers.

The Department of Education and Training requests that relevant departments and branches coordinate in arranging staff, appraising repair plans, combining fire prevention and fighting work... purchasing equipment synchronously, quickly and ensuring that the new apparatus operates effectively during the initial period of operation.

From the above facts, the leaders of the Department of Construction, the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial People's Court, and the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat all agreed that the establishment of Xuan Huong Secondary School was necessary. Up to now, the site handover has been completed.

Mr. Nguyen Minh requested relevant units to coordinate synchronously in establishing Xuan Huong Primary and Secondary School.

Mr. Nguyen Minh requested the Department of Education and Training to urgently develop a project, provide specific instructions, and comply with legal regulations to ensure the smooth operation of the apparatus. Note that the project needs to provide a clear and accurate plan for surveying student data and adding teachers. At the same time, he requested Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, relevant departments and branches to coordinate synchronously so that the establishment of Xuan Huong Secondary School is on schedule on April 18, 2026. Therefore, units need to get involved urgently because of their responsibility for the rights of students.
