Ha Long welcomes cruise ship for super luxury guests

On June 17, Ha Long International Passenger Port welcomed the American cruise ship The World carrying over 170 luxury tourists, mainly from the US and Europe. The World ship brings over 170 luxury tourists to Ha Long International Cruise Port. The World ship will stop in Quang Ninh for 4 days, so that tourists can experience tourism in Ha Long City, and famous tourist destinations in Northern Vietnam. This is the first time The World ship has returned to Ha Long since the Covid-19 pandemic, and is also the ship anchored in Ha Long for the longest time in the 2023-2024 cruise season. The World is a ship, also considered an exclusive private residential area with 165 luxury apartments. According to the introduction on the ship's website, The World is the largest private residential yacht on the planet. Each apartment on The World is a sophisticated, privately owned house. The tourists who are also the owners of the apartments on the ship are all millionaires and billionaires (belonging to 1% of the world's population). Since the beginning of the year, Quang Ninh has welcomed about 40 international cruise ships carrying tens of thousands of tourists. Normally, the cruise tourism season starts from September of the previous year to April of the following year. Welcoming international cruise ships even in the summer months affirms the attractiveness of Quang Ninh tourism to cruise tourists, while opening up opportunities to develop cruise tourism all year round for Quang Ninh.
