Attending the conference were Mr. Truong Quoc Huy - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ms. Dinh Thi Lua - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments and branches; representatives of tourism associations, travel businesses, along with many experts, scientists, and large economic groups.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Anh Chuc - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed: Ha Nam is a land with many advantages for tourism development with a favorable geographical location, rich natural resources, a diverse system of historical and cultural relics and increasingly complete tourism infrastructure.
Currently, the province has over 200 accommodation establishments with more than 4,000 rooms, including 2 5-star hotels and a high-end hotel of BRG Group under completion. Tam Chuc tourist area has been approved by the Prime Minister as a national tourist area, becoming a prominent spiritual and ecological destination, attracting millions of visitors each year. In addition, Ha Nam has 12 recognized tourist destinations and is forming an increasingly diverse tourism ecosystem.
The province also promotes the development of sports tourism, especially golf tourism with 4 golf courses in the planning, of which 2 courses have been put into operation. In the first 5 months of 2025, Ha Nam welcomed nearly 6 million visitors, with tourism revenue reaching nearly 4,500 billion VND. Notably, in two consecutive years 2023 and 2024, Ha Nam was honored by the World Travel Awards as "World's Leading Local Cultural Destination", "Asia's Leading Emerging Tourist Destination" and received the "Special Achievement" Award.

The conference recorded many profound and enthusiastic comments from delegates, experts, businesses and investors, focusing on effectively exploiting potentials and strengths; building unique tourism products; improving the investment environment; enhancing service quality and developing tourism human resources.
In his closing speech, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - highly appreciated the valuable contributions at the conference. At the same time, he affirmed that Ha Nam province will continue to focus on completing and effectively implementing approved plans, including the Master Plan for Provincial Tourism Development to 2030, vision 2050; Development Plan for Tam Chuc National Tourist Area and potential tourist areas and destinations.
The province will mobilize maximum resources to invest in developing synchronous infrastructure, from transportation, tourism, trade to information, connecting the Ha Nam - Nam Dinh - Ninh Binh region. Along with that, it will promote digital transformation, apply technology in management, promotion and provision of tourism services; encourage businesses to invest in developing new products, bearing the unique identity of Ha Nam.
Within the framework of the conference, delegates visited the exhibition area of beautiful Ha Nam tourism photos, booths introducing typical OCOP products and achievements in tourism investment promotion of the province. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Ha Nam province signed cooperation agreements on tourism development with many major partners including corporations, enterprises, travel clubs and training institutions across the country. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam also signed cooperation agreements with the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the provinces: Quang Binh, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang and Bac Giang.
The Ha Nam Tourism Development Investment Promotion Conference 2025 not only demonstrates political determination in tourism development but also opens up great opportunities for Ha Nam to promote its potential, call for investment, promote regional connectivity and elevate tourism to become a key economic sector in the coming period.
