Hanoi: 11 candidates need medical assistance, nearly 500 candidates do not complete exam procedures

TPO - According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, in this year's 10th grade entrance exam, 11 candidates had health problems and needed medical support and help with the exam.

According to the schedule, this morning (June 6), candidates came to the examination site to complete the examination procedures, listen to the regulations to start the examination tomorrow. According to statistics, more than 102,000 candidates were present at the examination site to complete the examination procedures, reaching a rate of 99.5%.

The entire city had 495 absent candidates. According to the prediction of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, it is possible that these candidates decided to study vocational training or private schools, so they did not come to the exam site.

Eleven candidates had health problems right before the exam and needed medical assistance. For example, at Tran Phu High School, Hoan Kiem District, a candidate had a torn tendon in his right hand and had to ask an 8th grader to copy his notes to take the exam. A special exam room was set up right next to the medical room to get the fastest support.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training assessed that all testing sites have been fully prepared for the exam. 100% of testing sites have arranged security forces, have plans to ensure the safety of the exam papers, the security of the testing site as well as the area outside the exam gate.

The unit has also directed to strengthen security measures at exam sites, have plans to ensure food safety, and plans to respond to hot weather or heavy rain and flooding.
