Grade 10 Exam in Ho Chi Minh City: Math Exam Answers and Questions in 2025

This morning (June 7), more than 76,000 candidates in Ho Chi Minh City continued to take the third exam (Math) in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that on the first day of the exam (June 6), the percentage of candidates taking the exam reached over 99%.

Of which, in the Literature subject, 76,154/76,435 candidates took the exam, 281 were absent (0.37%), reaching a rate of 99.63%. In the Foreign Language subject, 76,160/76,435 candidates took the exam, 275 were absent (0.36%), reaching a rate of 99.64%.

This year, the total enrollment target for public high schools is 70,070 students, so there will be about 6,000 students who will not be admitted.

The exam was held at 142 exam sites (including 132 regular exam sites and 10 specialized exam sites) with 3,558 exam rooms; mobilizing more than 10,000 teachers as exam invigilators and 2,070 service staff. At each exam site, 3 additional backup rooms were arranged to handle special and arising cases.

Each candidate will take 3 exams: Math, Literature (120 minutes/subject) and Foreign Language (90 minutes, according to the first foreign language being studied at school). Candidates applying to specialized schools and integrated classes will take additional specialized or integrated subjects (150 minutes).

Admission score is the total score: Literature score + Foreign language score + Math score + priority and incentive points (if any).
