Hanoi: Special spending levels to support drug prevention and control work take effect from May 1

Accordingly, the Resolution stipulates the content and specific expenditure levels in the management of illegal drug users; voluntary drug addiction treatment at home and in the community; post-rehabilitation management at the place of residence and support for those assigned to help people beingeducated at the commune level; the content and specific expenditure levels in drug addiction treatment at public drug addiction treatment facilities; the content and specific expenditure levels for specialized forces, implementing drug prevention and control under specialized agencies, performing drug prevention and control tasks in Hanoi city.

The subjects of application of the Resolution include:

+ Agencies, organizations and individuals performing specialized tasks in drug prevention and control under the agencies: Police, People's Procuracy, People's Court at all levels of the city.

+ Agencies, organizations, and individuals performing the management of illegal drug users; post-rehabilitation drug management; supporting and assisting people receiving post-rehabilitation drug education; supporting people receiving education at the commune level.

+ Voluntary and compulsory drug addicts at public drug addiction treatment facilities of the city; voluntary drug addicts at home and in the community.

+ Other related organizations and individuals (if any).

The Resolution also stipulates the content of expenditure, expenditure level and funding source for this work, which is arranged in the city budget estimate assigned to the City Police, the City People's Procuracy and the City People's Court.

The Resolution takes effect from May 1, 2025.
