Over the past years, implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, the Party Committee and people of Ha Tinh have united, joined hands, and made efforts to overcome all difficulties and challenges, achieving quite comprehensive results in all fields.

The work of building the Party and the political system has been strengthened; studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with implementing Resolution No. 4 of the 11th and 12th Party Central Committees and Conclusion No. 21 of the 13th Party Central Committee on Party building and rectification and regulations on setting examples have continued to go into depth.

The work of organizing cadres was carried out in accordance with procedures and regulations. The organizational apparatus in the political system and administrative units was arranged and consolidated in a streamlined direction, operating effectively and efficiently, serving the people better and better; the work of inspection, supervision, and enforcement of Party discipline; the prevention and fight against corruption, waste, and negativity were strengthened; the work of gathering and mobilizing the people had many positive changes. The implementation of the key resolutions of the 13th Politburo was directed to be implemented promptly and resolutely.

The province's socio-economy has recovered rapidly, maintaining a good growth momentum; the economic structure has shifted in a positive direction; the economic scale is 1.5 times larger than in 2020; budget revenue has increased 1.6 times compared to the 2016-2020 period; infrastructure has been gradually completed. Vung Ang Economic Zone has promoted its central role; the province has attracted many more investment projects to create new development momentum. The construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas has achieved positive results. Cultural and social fields have made much progress; social security policies have been ensured; the material and spiritual life of the people has been gradually improved. National defense and security have been maintained; foreign affairs and international cooperation have been strengthened and expanded.

In the 2020-2025 period, budget revenue increased 1.6 times compared to the 2016-2020 period.

Implementing Directive No. 45 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels, Ha Tinh has completed grassroots and upper-level congresses, ensuring compliance with regulations, creating favorable conditions for organizing the 20th Provincial Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

In addition to the achieved results, the Provincial Party Executive Committee frankly and seriously reviewed the limitations and shortcomings, including some socio-economic development targets that were not well implemented.

This afternoon, the 20th Congress of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee will hold a preparatory session. The official session will take place tomorrow, October 1, and last until October 2.

The Congress will review the implementation of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, determine the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; discuss and contribute opinions on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress and documents to be submitted to the 20th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; elect the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 20th term for the 2025-2030 term; and elect the delegation to attend the 14th National Party Congress.

The Congress identified the theme "Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the tradition of solidarity, cultural values, people and high-quality human resources of Ha Tinh; innovation, comprehensive, fast and sustainable development".
