Attending the house handover ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Bui Ngoc Sang - Political Commissar of Brigade 129, Mr. Dang Ngoc Tung - former member of the Party Central Committee, representative of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club, and Head of Ben Tre Province Fisheries Sub-Department Huynh Van Cung.
The house was built with a total budget of 80 million VND, from the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the “For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa” Club, the main sponsor is an independent member of Herbalife Vietnam. This is a project of practical significance, demonstrating the tradition of “remembering the source of water when drinking” and the morality of “repaying gratitude” to those who have contributed to the revolution.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Bui Ngoc Sang - Political Commissar of Naval Squadron 129 said that in recent times, Naval Squadron 129 has regularly done a good job of policy work in the provinces coordinating propaganda.
Since 2009, the Navy has built 35 gratitude houses in the provinces, of which Ben Tre province has 6. In addition, every year on the occasion of Lunar New Year, the anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27) and the founding day of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22), the Navy actively coordinates with the Department of Fisheries of Ben Tre province to give many meaningful gifts to policy families and poor households in the locality.
