The 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day is not only an opportunity for us to look back on the development of revolutionary journalism but also an opportunity to pay tribute to previous generations of journalists who sacrificed and contributed to the revolutionary cause of the nation. Continuing the glorious tradition, we deeply realize that, to be worthy of the people's trust and love, each journalist needs to constantly cultivate moral qualities, improve professional qualifications and always maintain political courage and social responsibility in each of their journalistic works.
Attending the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day organized by the province, I was very happy and moved. After more than 8 years of attachment to the land of Coconut with so many emotions, this place has helped me become more mature in journalism.
In the coming time, when merging provincial administrative units and implementing a two-level local government, there will be many changes, even in press activities, but we expect and believe that this is a condition to create a new space and a new environment for journalists to create more and better quality works to serve political tasks and meet the information needs of readers and listeners better and better.
Reporter, editor Huynh Thi Thuy Duong - Ben Tre Radio and Television Station
In an era of rapid technological development, especially the explosion of social networks and artificial intelligence, the way the public accesses information has changed significantly. This places higher demands on the press in terms of speed, accuracy and direction.
With the sense of responsibility and role of a journalist, I always strive to honor good people, good deeds, and advanced models in patriotic emulation movements, especially the "New Dong Khoi" emulation movement. Thereby, contributing to spreading good actions and positive deeds in society, building my homeland to be increasingly rich, civilized, and affectionate. In every thought, action, and deed, I always put the words "heart" and "ethics" of the profession first. This is not only the core factor to practice journalism honestly, but also the principle of life that helps me maintain my fortitude in the face of life's temptations. In particular, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style is always the guiding principle for me to train myself, improve myself, and fulfill my assigned tasks well.
Looking forward, with the highest spirit and responsibility, we - the journalists of today will continue to contribute, be creative, commit and courageously face all challenges, fully carry out the noble mission of journalism in the new era, actively contribute to the sustainable development of the country in the era of integration and strong rise of the nation.
Reporter Nguyen Thi Cam Truc - Dong Khoi Newspaper
I feel very proud to be in the ranks of journalists of my home province, to contribute to serving my hometown newspaper - Dong Khoi Newspaper. As a reporter in charge of the province's economic section, I always want to spread good values, today's economic achievements, good models, ways of doing things, examples of startups, examples of young and successful entrepreneurs in the Coconut land today. Thereby, spreading the fire, arousing the desire to rise up to become rich legitimately, contributing to building and developing my homeland to become more and more beautiful.
It is an honor to join in the joyful and excited atmosphere of the provincial press team on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. For me, this is an important milestone in the development of the province's revolutionary press, as well as an important turning point for each journalist. That is to promote the pioneering role of soldiers on the ideological and cultural front, contributing together with the Party Committee, the government and the people to bring the homeland to a new page, increasingly rich and prosperous.
Reporter, editor Duong Trung Tri - Ben Tre Radio and Television Station
Making the documentary “The Press Always Accompanies the Party Committee and People of Ben Tre”, which was broadcast on Ben Tre Radio and Television and at the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, for me is not only a professional task, but also an opportunity to learn more deeply about the journey of growth and proud dedication of the province's revolutionary press over the past century. From the hand-printed newspapers in the war zone in the past to the modern electronic news spread on all digital platforms today, each news line, each film carries the passion, intelligence, political mettle and social responsibility of many generations of journalists.
Going deeper into the documents and data, I feel more clearly the enormous challenges that the provincial press is facing in the era of digital media and the explosion of social networks, but at the same time I also clearly see the will to innovate, adapt flexibly and the determination to surpass themselves of the team of journalists in the province.
With respect, gratitude and steadfast belief in the mission of revolutionary journalism, I hope this documentary will contribute to further portraying the valuable efforts of the Ben Tre province press team, who always silently shoulder the heavy but glorious responsibility: keeping the flame of the profession alive, continuing the glorious tradition, accompanying and serving for the development of the beloved homeland of Coconut.
Reporter Tran Thi Dieu Hien - Center for Culture - Sports and Broadcasting of Giong Trom district
I have been working in journalism for 15 years at the Center for Culture - Sports and Broadcasting of Giong Trom District. Writing for me is not only a job but also a passion, a way of life. Every day, I am exposed to everyday stories, social issues, and I listen to and reflect the voices of the people. Feeling that I am able to report timely and accurate news, contributing to the development of my homeland and country is something I always cherish.
During my work, I had the opportunity to meet many people from all 21 communes and towns in the district. From stories about hardworking farmers sticking with rice and coconut trees to shining examples in the new rural construction movement; each article and reportage is a memorable experience. I am proud to have contributed a small part in conveying useful information, raising community awareness and creating momentum for development.
Attending the 100th anniversary celebration of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day organized by the province, I was very honored and moved, because this is not only an opportunity to look back on the glorious journey of Vietnam revolutionary press but also an opportunity for us journalists to reminisce, share experiences and gain more motivation for the future.
