
According to the provincial Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, localities in Hai Duong have vaccinated more than 1 million doses of vaccines to prevent diseases for livestock. The vaccination rate reached over 70% of the total herd, ensuring mass immunity for livestock, protecting livestock from common diseases.
Localities have injected 68,400 doses of classical swine fever vaccine, 68,240 doses of distemper vaccine in pigs; more than 820,000 doses of avian influenza vaccine in poultry. In addition, more than 44,450 doses of rabies vaccine in dogs and cats and nearly 9,220 doses of anthrax vaccine in buffalo and cows have been injected. Owners of large-scale livestock farms have organized vaccinations for their livestock.

In June, the Agricultural Service Centers of districts, cities and towns continued to guide localities to vaccinate sows against foot-and-mouth disease and blue ear disease.
