Hai Duong disburses nearly 225 billion VND in policy credit capital to support people after storms and floods

Nearly 225 billion VND out of a total of nearly 343 billion VND in policy capital has been disbursed, contributing to helping people stabilize their livelihoods after storms and floods.

This is the disbursement data of the provincial policy credit system up to November 25, equivalent to 65.7% of the total capital just added from the Central Government and local entrusted capital to support people to restore production and business after storm No. 3 and floods.

Of which, 97 billion VND is disbursed for the job support and settlement program, 126 billion VND for the clean water and rural environmental sanitation program, and the remaining 1.7 billion VND is for loans to people who have completed their prison sentences.

Depending on the disbursement schedule in each commune, the remaining capital is expected to be fully disbursed before December 25, 2024, according to the direction of the Prime Minister and the Central Bank for Social Policies.

From November 11 to 22, 2024, the Social Policy Bank, Hai Duong branch, was supplemented with nearly VND 343 billion in policy credit capital. Of which, VND 233.4 billion was from the central government, disbursing 3 programs to support job creation, clean water and rural environmental sanitation loans, and loans for people who have completed their prison sentences. This is an additional source of capital based on the proposal of the Social Policy Bank, provincial branch, after reviewing the damage of borrowers after the storm and flood. In addition, there is nearly VND 109.2 billion in entrusted capital from the provincial budget for job creation loans.
