Two majors are expected to recruit and train "descendants of the sun"

(Dan Tri) - Next year, the school plans to enroll two bachelor's programs in non-traditional security management, specializing in training "descendants of the sun", and a "sun runner-up" program in health and medical security.

The above information was given on the morning of December 15, at the opening ceremony and graduation ceremony of the 2024 postgraduate programs of the School of Business and Administration (HSB), under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU).

The program also honored and awarded degrees to 3 new PhDs and 51 new masters, including new masters from the US and Korea.

At the ceremony, the school awarded 6 "Outstanding Student" scholarships to new PhDs and masters with excellent academic achievements.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Dinh Phi, Principal of the School of Management and Business, next year, the school plans to open two bachelor's programs in non-traditional security management, specializing in training "descendants of the sun". "These are two programs that are being proposed based on the proposed idea", said a school representative.

Accordingly, police officers and military police who have completed their military service will study for 4-6 years online and offline. They will continue to work and fight while obtaining a bachelor's degree to continue protecting the country.

The second program is "sun runner-up", specializing in training female soldiers wearing white and blue blouses, namely bachelor's programs in Customer Service Management and Health Care.

"We combine two schools of Integrated Business Administration and Non-traditional Security Administration to create a new, interdisciplinary training program, creating very high output standards that AI (artificial intelligence) cannot take away.

There, learners will be administrative leaders from department level and above. AI is just an office worker, cannot be deputy/department head.

So many years later, our students are confident that they will not lose their jobs, especially when they are equipped with four important types of thinking: logical, critical, strategic and creative thinking," said Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Dinh Phi.

According to the school's principal, in the context of AI and advances in science and technology gradually taking over many jobs in society, it can be seen that AI is both a friend and can also become an enemy.

"In the era of AI, if we don't have academic schools, if we don't have new things, we can't lead and manage our own future, AI will manage us.

Therefore, we are following the direction of combining 4 types of thinking, integrating them into training programs," the school's principal affirmed.

Sharing at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Head of Training Department, Hanoi National University, said that business, security and technology are three important fields, three pillars that the National University wishes to develop in the coming time.

In the era of development, human resource training is one of the important pillars. Therefore, he hopes that the school will be one of the leading units for this task of VNU Hanoi.

In 2024, the School of Business and Administration of Vietnam National University, Hanoi will enroll more than 70 new students for Master's and Doctoral programs.

Among them, many new students come from Korea and China, working at large companies and corporations with branches in Vietnam.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, the School of Business and Administration, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, will enroll 500 students for four undergraduate majors, including Business Administration and Technology, Marketing and Communication, Human Resources and Talent Management, and Administration and Security.

The expected tuition fee for the next academic year for undergraduate training programs at the School of Business and Administration is 70 million VND for the majors of Network Administration and Security, Business Administration and Technology; the remaining two majors charge 60 million VND.
