Hai Phong begins moving agencies to the North Cam River Political-Administrative Center

(PLVN) - From June 23, Hai Phong City began to move Party, government, department, and branch agencies to work at the new City Political - Administrative Center located in the North Cam River Urban Area. This is an important step to realize the orientation of urban space development, building a more modern, synchronous, and effective e-government model.

According to the plan, the relocation process will take place simultaneously in the last days of June and be completed before July 1, 2025 - the time when the North Cam River Political - Administrative Center officially operates. The relocation is organized methodically, with support from the Project Management Board to ensure the safety of assets and not interrupt regular administrative activities.

Currently, contractors are urgently completing the final items such as flooring, glass installation, ceiling painting, interior installation, office equipment, and completing the green tree system, regulating lake, parking lot and auxiliary works. Industrial cleaning, collection of excess materials and technical treatment are being implemented synchronously to create a clean, modern and professional working environment.

Located in the North Cam River Urban Area (Thuy Nguyen City), the new City's Political - Administrative Center has a strategic position when it is located between important regional connecting routes. The East borders the central urban area of ​​Hai Phong, the West faces Hai Duong , the North is Quang Ninh and the South borders the old urban core and the seaport system. Placing the administrative headquarters in this area is not only suitable for the orientation of expanding urban space but also creates momentum for the development of the urban - industrial - service chain along the North - South axis of the City.

The total investment for the entire project is about 5,000 billion VND, from the city budget. Of which, the Political - Administrative Center project has a scale of 14 blocks, a total floor area of ​​nearly 90,000m², fully meeting the working conditions for agencies of the Party, government and mass organizations. In parallel, the Conference - Performance Center has a total investment of more than 2,300 billion VND, a scale of three floors with a usable area of ​​about 50,000m², of which the large hall has a capacity of 1,500 seats, serving the organization of major political and cultural events of the city.

The synchronous operation of these projects will contribute to the formation of a centralized, modern working space, ensuring connectivity between agencies, thereby improving the effectiveness and efficiency in directing, operating and serving the people. In particular, with a smart design and synchronous digital infrastructure, the new center will facilitate the implementation of the electronic "one-stop" model, aiming at the goal of building a digital government and comprehensive administrative reform.

The relocation of administrative agencies to the new headquarters is not simply a change in working location but also reflects the city's political determination in innovating the organizational model, improving the working environment, promoting internal resources to serve the cause of rapid and sustainable development. This is also an important preparation step for the roadmap to build Hai Phong into a modern industrial, seaport, logistics service center and a dynamic growth pole of the Northern Coastal region in the coming period.

Regarding the plan to arrange the headquarters of new Hai Phong City agencies from July 1: The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Internal Affairs Department, the Office of the City Party Committee, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council of Hai Phong City will work at Building A (15 floors) at the Hai Phong City Political - Administrative Center. The Office of the Hai Phong City People's Committee, the Hai Phong City People's Committee Party Committee and the Department of Education and Training will work at Building B (15 floors). The Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Industry and Trade, Justice, Construction, Health, Home Affairs, Agriculture and Environment; the Party Committees of the Provincial Party agencies, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, and the City Party Committee's Organization Board will work at buildings from Building C to Building M.

7 units arranged their working headquarters outside the Hai Phong City Political - Administrative Center, including: Hai Phong City Inspectorate uses the headquarters of Hai An District People's Committee; Hai Phong City Fatherland Front Committee uses the new headquarters of Ngo Quyen District People's Committee at the location behind Le Hong Phong Street; Department of Finance uses the headquarters of Hong Bang District People's Committee; Department of Science and Technology uses the old headquarters of Ngo Quyen District People's Committee on Da Nang Street; Department of Foreign Affairs continues to use the current headquarters; Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board uses headquarters at 5, 7, 9 Dinh Tien Hoang; Hai Phong City Public Administration Center uses the headquarters of Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board at 24 Cu Chinh Lan
