On the evening of April 19, at Hai Tien Beach Tourism Area, the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa District, Thanh Hoa Province held the opening ceremony of the Hai Tien Beach Tourism Festival 2025 with the theme "Hai Tien - Aspiration to Shine".

Hoang Hoa is the first locality in Thanh Hoa province to organize the opening ceremony of the sea tourism festival, with the desire to welcome millions of tourists to Thanh Hoa, to Hai Tien beach in the summer of 2025.

In his opening speech, Mr. Le Thanh Hai, Chairman of Hoang Hoa District People's Committee, said that after more than 13 years of establishment and development, from a pristine coastal area, Hai Tien has grown to become a dynamic coastal area of ​​Thanh Hoa, an attractive coastal tourist area of ​​the North Central region and the whole country.

Up to now, Hai Tien Tourist Area has attracted more than 20,000 billion VND in investment capital to build and complete technical infrastructure and tourism infrastructure.

In 2024, Hai Tien will welcome over 2.1 million visitors for relaxation and entertainment; total revenue from the tourism industry will reach 3,050 billion VND. In 2025, Hoang Hoa strives to welcome 2.2 million tourists with the target revenue from tourism activities estimated at 3,500 billion VND.

Thousands of people flocked to Hai Tien to attend the opening ceremony and enjoy special art programs.

With the theme "Hai Tien - Aspiration to shine", Mr. Hai said that this year's festival is not only an opportunity to promote the image of Hoang Hoa hometown, but also a vivid demonstration of Hai Tien's aspiration to rise up, develop sustainably and integrate strongly.
