Earthquake occurred in Kon Tum, Quang Nam

Cracks appeared at the office of the forest protection station in Dak Tang commune, Kon Plong district after the earthquake on July 28, 2024.

The earthquake in Nam Tra My district occurred at 1:56:09, with a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale and a focal depth of about 8.1 km. The natural disaster risk level is 0.

According to Mr. Tran Van Net, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dak Tang Commune, Kon Plong District (the place considered the epicenter of the earthquake), the earthquake that occurred in Kon Plong District at noon on May 25 caused tremors. People in the area felt the tremors caused by the earthquake. The earthquake in Kon Plong District did not cause any damage to people or property.
