On the afternoon of August 24, Mr. Tran Duc Lich, Director of Thien Thanh Five Star Garment Company (Dai Kim Industrial Park, Cau Treo Border Gate Economic Zone, Son Kim 1 Commune, Huong Son District, Ha Tinh), said that since the morning of the same day, 100% of workers have returned to work normally after a day off.
The company committed to paying all July salaries and 30% of August salaries to workers on September 5. From September 10 to 15, the company will pay 70% of the remaining August salaries to workers.
According to information from Huong Son District Social Insurance, as of July 31, Thien Thanh Five Star Garment Company still owes social insurance payments for workers.
However, sharing the difficulties of enterprises, Huong Son District Social Insurance creates favorable conditions for workers to receive medical examination and treatment with health insurance until the end of 2023.

Earlier, on the morning of August 23, hundreds of workers of this company went on strike because in the past two months (July and August), the company did not pay salaries and broke promises many times. The company's delay in paying salaries has made the lives of workers difficult. In addition, the workers are not paid monthly insurance.
The company representative confirmed that it is facing difficulties in goods sources, financial situation and exported goods, so it is late in paying salaries and owing insurance premiums to employees.
After the incident, on the morning of August 23, the company's Board of Directors, representatives of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the Labor Federation of Huong Son district and the authorities of Son Kim 1 commune were present, grasped the concerns of the workers and proposed a solution.
