(Fatherland) - On the afternoon of November 17, 14 groups participating in the 7th Then singing and Tinh lute festival paraded in the center of Hanoi, attracting a large number of people and tourists.

The 7th Then singing and Tinh lute art festival of the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups, taking place from November 16 to 18, is an activity organized in parallel with the series of activities of the "Great National Unity - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week in 2024.

For the first time, artists and actors from 14 provinces and cities participated in the Then singing and Tinh lute festival parading in the center of the capital, including: Hanoi, Bac Giang , Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Ha Giang, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Lam Dong.

People and tourists crowded around Hoan Kiem Lake to watch the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups participating in the parade.

The parade groups brought songs and dances, creating a joyful atmosphere, full of cultural colors for the Hoan Kiem Lake area on the weekend.

A group of artisans, artists and actors from Hanoi capital participated in the parade.

Ethnic artists, craftsmen and actors from Thai Nguyen province perform at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.

The delegations participating in the 7th Festival of Then singing and Tinh musical instruments of the Tay, Nung and Thai ethnic groups paraded in the center of the capital to bring this art form closer to the public. This contributed to helping the people of the capital and international tourists have the opportunity to learn about the Then practice that has been recognized by UNESCO.

The festival is an opportunity to introduce and promote the cultural heritage values of the nation to domestic and international friends, thereby honoring the unique cultural and artistic forms of the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups.
