Many roads and bridges in Phu Luong area, Long Hung ward, O Mon district have been newly built. Many households have been supported with loans and new houses... These are some of the outstanding activities in many practical actions of cadres and party members of Phu Luong area Party Cell in coordination in recent times. Phu Luong area Party Cell is one of the collectives awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the City People's Committee for outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2023.

Urban beautification is one of the tasks that the Phu Luong area Party Cell focuses on, and is highly agreed upon by the people. A typical example is the newly built Di Tho bridge with the support of benefactors and contributions from the people of the area, with a construction cost of 120 million VND and 125 working days. Mr. Le Van On, a resident of Phu Luong area, said: "Previously, because there was no bridge, every time we crossed the river, we had to use boats, canoes or wade across the river when the water was low. Thanks to the coordination of the area Party Committee to build a new bridge, 25m long and 2.5m wide, people can cross and transport agricultural products conveniently and safely."
In addition, the local staff and volunteers also mobilized 80 million VND and 120 working days to build an embankment to prevent landslides on Di Tho canal. Mr. Le Van Tho, a local resident, said: "This road has been eroded, making traffic very difficult. In this situation, the local staff mobilized philanthropists and people to contribute money and working days to reinforce it to help ensure traffic safety." From 2022 to present, the local staff and volunteers have mobilized 336 million VND and 540 working days to build, repair and upgrade bridges and roads; build embankments to prevent landslides...
According to comrade Nguyen Van Sieng, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Phu Luong area, the Party Cell thoroughly urged cadres and Party members to follow Uncle Ho's example with practical actions. In particular, focusing on implementing civilized urban criteria, caring for and supporting people to improve their lives... Mr. Tran Van Cuu, a resident of Phu Luong area, said: "Previously, my family's 4,000m2 garden grew oranges, but the trees were sick, and the yield was very low. Thanks to the local Party Committee's introduction of a loan from the Social Policy Bank, I renovated the garden to grow Thai custard apples. While the trees were still small and had not yet withered, I grew vegetables, beans, sesame... earning about 2 million VND/month, covering the family's living expenses. I am preparing to process custard apples to produce fruit this off-season, hoping that my family's income will be better".
Practically studying and following Uncle Ho's example, from 2022 to now, the Party Committee has led the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front, and regional organizations to mobilize 238 portions of rice and necessities worth about 75 million VND to support the poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged people; coordinated to mobilize and support the construction of 2 charity houses; introduced people to borrow more than 4 billion VND from the Social Policy Bank for economic development, study, etc. Ms. Le Thi Bich Tien was supported to build a house, emotionally expressing: "My husband works as a house builder, I stay home to take care of the young children. My husband and I live with my husband's family in a cramped house. Sympathizing with our situation, my uncle gave us land and the regional staff mobilized and supported us to build a house. Thanks to that, my family has a stable place to live".
Comrade Nguyen Van Sieng, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Phu Luong area, said: "The Party Cell will continue to deploy and effectively implement the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality through practical actions, for the benefit of the people. In particular, the Party Cell will continue to lead the People's Committee and mass organizations to mobilize people to build landscapes, upgrade infrastructure in residential areas, maintain security and order; care for and support poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households...".
