Volunteer trip to An Giang border area

On August 23, Youth Unions under the Government Youth Union, organizations and enterprises coordinated with the Women's Union, the Provincial Youth Union, and the Border Guard Command of An Giang province to launch the campaign "Pink Holiday" and "Green Summer" in 2025 in Nhon Hoi commune with the theme "Volunteer Journey - Spreading Love".

Within the framework of the campaign, key activities were deployed synchronously, extensively, and had practical significance for local people. Specifically, supporting 2,000 breeding chickens, 1 ton of animal feed (including 1,500 breeding chickens and 750kg of feed for union members and youth; 500 breeding chickens and 250kg of feed for Nhon Hoi Border Guard Station); supporting the construction of 2 new houses, repairing 2 houses for poor and disadvantaged households; donating the "Green Light" project with 50 solar bulbs; donating trees, implementing the "Youth Route" flower road; supporting an industrial water filtration system to serve meals and daily activities for 818 students of Nhon Hoi A Primary School.

In addition, the delegation presented 200 gifts to disadvantaged students, 10 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND), 10 bicycles; presented gifts to 20 households in particularly difficult circumstances (each including cash worth 500,000 VND); provided training and transfer of scientific and technical advances in cultivation, animal husbandry and waste classification; game booths with prizes for students; launched the peak day of new rural construction, green Sunday; supported interest-free capital for 100 women in difficult border areas, with a total cost of 500 million VND.

At the same time, union members, youths, and leaders of units visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of Nhon Hoi and Vinh Nguon Border Guard Stations; and visited 10 border posts.

The total cost of the program is over 1.2 billion VND. Through the program, union members and young people have the opportunity to practice, contribute and mature, demonstrating the responsibility of the young generation in participating in socio -economic development and environmental protection in the locality.
