From December 7-9, the People's Committee of Van Yen commune (Van Don district) organized the 2024 Van Don Orange Festival. The opening ceremony attracted a large number of locals and tourists who came to visit, experience, and enjoy the taste of Van Don oranges.
The 2024 Van Don Orange Festival was held at the Cultural House of Village 10/10, Van Yen Commune. Orange-growing cooperatives in the commune participated. Locals and tourists alike enjoy buying oranges from Van Don district. The clearly displayed prices of oranges in Van Don provide peace of mind and build trust among locals and tourists. Within the grounds of the Van Don Orange Festival 2024, locals and tourists can experience activities such as visiting and showcasing traditional crafts, woven baskets, and more. ...and take souvenir photos. Teams competed in a lively orange-picking contest, ensuring they picked oranges quickly and used proper techniques to avoid damaging the trees, right in the village's orange orchard. The teams participating in the orange-picking competition were thrilled with their results after completing the task. The children were absolutely thrilled to experience picking oranges in the orchard. The Van Don Orange Festival 2024 is organized to preserve, promote, introduce, and publicize the image, potential, and advantages of Van Yen commune, Van Don district, in preserving and developing orange trees while promoting community tourism .
