As winter approaches in Da Lat, the first wild sunflowers have bloomed, but they haven't yet turned a vibrant yellow. Instead, orchards of ripe, eye-catching yellow persimmons are becoming the main attraction for tourists visiting the mountain town in late autumn.

This season, it's easy to find persimmon trees laden with ripe, golden fruit in the heart of Da Lat or in suburban areas like Cau Dat and Tram Hanh. Persimmon trees have been grown in Da Lat for a long time, producing this delicious and sweet specialty fruit of the mountain town.

Today, besides being considered a "miraculous gift from fertile land," the ripe rose gardens are also used by the people of the mountain town as a unique tourist attraction for visitors to come and take photos for social media.

Besides sightseeing and taking photos, visitors can also enjoy ripe persimmons or sample traditional dried persimmons from Da Lat.

The Le Van rose garden (at the beginning of Mimosa Pass , Da Lat) is frequently visited by tourists these days to admire the roses in their golden ripening stage, which is very beautiful.

According to the persimmon orchard owner, they are currently cultivating persimmons until they ripen to a uniform golden yellow color, to be used as raw materials for producing air-dried persimmons at the appropriate time, when the rainy season has completely ended.

In parallel, this garden is also open to visitors to freely explore and take photos with the rose garden at its most beautiful time of year.

Tourist Ly Ngoc Mai Tram (Ho Chi Minh City), who recently had a holiday during the persimmon season in Da Lat, commented that she was very satisfied with her accommodation located on a slope, a true Da Lat experience.

Especially noteworthy is the persimmon tree laden with fruit in the garden, allowing her and her companion to take countless Instagram-worthy photos and enjoy eating ripe persimmons straight from the tree.

Da Lat promotes garden tourism and agro-tourism.

According to statistics from the Da Lat City People's Committee, in the first nine months of 2023, Da Lat welcomed over 5 million visitors (with an estimated 4 million overnight stays), an increase of 18.53% compared to the same period in 2022 and reaching 78.47% of the plan.

In the final months of the year, Da Lat city continues to encourage businesses to improve service quality and promote the development of garden tourism and agro-tourism to attract tourists to Da Lat.
