Quang Da Bridge connecting Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province, started construction in December 2023 with a total investment of nearly 275 billion VND. When completed, it will not only serve the traffic needs of the people but also contribute to promoting socio-economic development for both localities.

The Quang Da Bridge project across the Yen River, connecting Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province, was started in December 2023, with a construction period of 510 days. The total investment capital of the project is nearly 275 billion VND.

According to the design, Quang Da bridge has a total length of 1.4 km, with a scale of 4 lanes. The bridge itself is 204 m long and 22 m wide.

The starting point intersects with National Highway 14B in Hoa Khuong Commune (Hoa Vang District, Da Nang) and the end point connects with the northern belt road project of Quang Nam Province (in Dien Tien Commune, Dien Ban Town).

According to the reporter's records, there are currently more than 100 workers still working hard in 3 shifts, 4 shifts, working day and night.

The construction site is focusing on bringing the project to the finish line as soon as possible, in time for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025).

According to the contractor, the project has now completed about 60% of the contract value. The contractor is making every effort to complete the main bridge span on March 10, 2025 and open it to technical traffic before March 29, 2025, on schedule.

However, the current project is also facing many difficulties. In particular, the 1.2 km long embankment of the road leading to the bridge on the Da Nang side is lacking about 35,000 cubic meters of soil.

Currently, the construction unit is urgently looking for land to ensure project progress.

With the continuous efforts of the workers and authorities, the Quang Da bridge project is gradually being completed day by day, promising to be an iconic project, marking the strong connection between Da Nang and Quang Nam in the future.
